Family planning  is the planning of having children at the right time [1]  and   ensuring proper implementation of birth control  [2] and other methods. Other methods include  sex education , prevention and management of sexually transmitted infections. Family planning is often identified as a synonym for birth control, although the scope of family planning is more detailed. This is usually done between husband and wife who want to control the number of children and conceive at their expected time.

Family planning services refer to educational, comprehensive health and social programs through which each individual is able to make independent decisions about the number of children and the distance between two children. [3]

The purpose of [ edit ]

The need for time, social, economic and environmental security increases through increasing the number of children. The adoption of family planning ensures the efficient use of these resources. Population growth in Bangladesh and around the world is making the world uninhabitable and problematic. Therefore, family planning is necessary to prevent the increase in numbers or to bring balance to the world by giving birth to moderate children.

Gain physical [ edit ]

If the mother waits until she is at least 18 years old, the child's health and maternal health remain good. Maternal mortality rates are reduced and planned children are more gifted and healthier.
